Anorectal disease refers to illness of
the anus or rectum or both. The most common aliments include hemorrhoids,
fissure, anorectal abscesses, rectal prolapse & anal fistulas.
HEMORRHOIDS: -
Hemorrhoids also called as piles, this
swollen veins in Anus & Lower rectum, similar to varicose veins. Hemorrhoids
due to constipation (straining during bowel movements), increased pressure
during pregnancy, Sitting for long period, Chronic diarrhea or constipation,
Obesity, Pregnancy, Anal intercourse, Low-fiber diet.
Hemorrhoids may be located inside the
rectum (Internal Hemorrhoids) or they may develop under the skin around the
anus (external hemorrhoids).
Signs & symptoms based on location.
1. Internal Hemorrhoids:-
These lie inside the rectum. Usually
can't see or feel, rarely cause discomfort. But straining or irritation when
passing stool can damage a hemorrhoid’s surface & cause to bleed.
Occasionally, straining can push internal hemorrhoid through the anal opening.
This is known as a protruding or prolapsed hemorrhoid cause pain &
Irritation.
2. External hemorrhoids:-
These
are under the skin around anus. When irritated, external hemorrhoids can itch
or bleed.
Diagnosis:-
Able
to see external hemorrhoidssimply by looking,Internalhemorrhoids may need
examination of anal canal & rectum.
Digital examination:
During
a digital rectal exam, inserts a gloved, lubricated finger into the rectum. If
you feel anything unusual, such as growths Examination can suggest whether
further testing is needed or not i.e. Internal hemorrhoids are too soft we may
also examine the lower portion of colon & rectum with the Anoscope,
Proctoscope or Sigmoid scope, Colonoscopy.
(Arsha
KIT) Treatment:-
Usually
all Doctors prefers Hemorrhoidectomy or Kshara Sutra, or Agni karma etc. But
according to my clinical experience these medications are enough to cure Arshas
without operative procedure through this medication we can cure up to 3rd
degree pile mass.
1. KalyanaK shara:-3 pinch - 0 - 3 pinch take in a
mothleave it for 2-3 minutes then drink Luke warm water.
2.Avipattikara Churna + Yastimadhu Taila: - 1 tsf ofAvipattikaraChuran mix with 1
tsf of YastimadhuTaila mixed with Luke warm water then drink before food 2
times a day.
3. Kankayana Vati:-1-0-1 / 2-0-2 After Food.

Clinical
Discussion:-
•
Whenever
pain is more, Advice Sitz Bath and oil application. This procedure Compulsory
after toilet.

With
this line of treatment we can control bleeding pain, irritation within 2-5 days,
but need to fallow these medicationup to 3-6 months to reversal the pile mass.

Usually
Gastritis & Fissure in Ano are more common. we can manage. along these medication
•
Advice
fibers rich food like raw onion, carrot, muli, raw leafy salad with night
meals.
SITZ BATHA
Sitz
bath may be created simply by filling a large basin / bathtub with warm water
and sitting in it for 5-10 minutes. Warm baths are recommended for reducing
itching, pain, discomfort associated with hemorrhoids & other ano-recal
disorder.
