-: RECTAL PROLAPSE:-

Rectal walls have prolapsed to a degree where they protrude out the anus & are visible outside the anus. It may occur at any age & in either sex. It is very rarely life-threatening, but the symptoms can be debilitating if left untreated. Most external prolapse cases can be treated successfully.
Rectal prolapse may be confused easily with prolapsing hemorrhoids. In rectal prolapse, there is a sulcus present between the prolapsed bowel and the anal verge, whereas in hemorrhoid disease there is no sulcus.
Signs & symptoms
Unbearable pain, history of a protruding mass, protrude common during defecation & straining, a sensation of incomplete evacuation of stool, difficulty while walking & prolonged standing.
-: (Arsha KIT) Treatment:-

Usually Doctors advice for surgical procedure. But according to my clinical experience these medications are enough to cure without operative procedure through this medication we can cure up to 3-4th degree prolapse.
1.               KalyanaKshara: - 3 pinches - 0 - 3 pinches take in a mothleave it for 2-3 minutes then drink Luke warm water.

2.            AvipattikaraChurna + Yastimadhutaila: - 1 tsf ofavipattikarachuran mix with 1 tsf of yastimadhutailamixed with Luke warm water then drink before food 2 times a day.
3.               Kankayanavati:-1-0-1 After Food.

4.               KshirabalatailaTake a piece of cotton dip in oilthen keep in anal canal. 5-6 times a day. Avoid direct Application with bare figure; repeat the figure incursion procedure if prolapse comes out.
FINGURING PROCEDURE:-
          Advice to lie down on table with left lateralpoison then with a glossed hand with kherabalataila lubrication. Index figure is inserting in to the anal canal by pushing inside the prolapse than press gently inside the rectum, keep index figure for 3-5 minutes & advice to lie on supine positionfor 5-10 minutes.
Clinical Discussion:-

•       After fingering procedure pain will reduce up to extent.
•       Whenever pain is more, advise themSitz Bath & oil application &advise them to insert their oil coted finger wear with glove(like fingering procedure), this procedure Compulsory after toilet & prolapse comes out.

•       With this line of treatment we can control pain, if the pain is more & prolapse comes out advise them to visit &repeat the figure insertion procedure. Even after the pain management &reversal prolapse need to fallow these medications for 1-2 months to reversal the prolapse.
•       Usually constipation is more common. We can manage along these medication

•       Advice fibers rich food like raw onion, carrot, muli, raw leafy salad with night meals.
